Truth

I’m wondering which is worse, disinformation or misinformation. If one says he was misinformed, he was given inaccurate information, but not necessarily lied to. If one says he was disinformed, that to me is an outright lie. So with misinformation, at least there is room to give the benefit of the doubt, if one were so inclined.

And there it stays.

There’s always been disinformation. Now it comes faster and is more convincing.

And then the age of outright lies.

Who’da thunk that people who love to gossip and embellish in person would also embrace gossiping and embellishing via keyboards?

Be careful of what you say Google is watching…

Disinformation is intentional deception. It was better in the old days when it was limited to politicians and advertising.

If the powers that be removed anonymity from the web (have to use your own name address), mis/disinformation, threats, and general lack of manners will show a dramatic decline.
