Sports has always had “characters,” like say Yogi Berra and Lee Trevino. The best of them usually had a sense of humor and didn’t take themselves too seriously, often mocking the pomposity that often permeates games. Does Dion belong? Not sure, he seems a little too full of himself a lot of times. Time will tell, I suppose.
