Seems that mom and daughter (and dad!) got red hair. In that case, use clothes to cover. Sun screen doesn’t work as well as people may think, because it must be applied more often and thicker than normally done. For those with little pigment clothes are way better, and a hat!
If he thinks it’s fun now, just wait until tonight when he tries to sleep. AND his dermatologist will be having a less-than-friendly discussion of the various skin cancer locations…
