Did he offer that after she said she wanted the rust-proofing and perma-wax for her and not for her car?

I’ve never seen an entire truck tire fly. The closest I’ve come to that is truck tire tread flying off the tire. Once, almost 30 years ago, I was on my motorcycle on I-40 in North Carolina following a semi. Thought I had enough distance between us, but evidently didn’t. All of a sudden, some tread flew off. One piece hit me in the chest (fortunately, I had my leather jacket on), and one piece hit me in my shin (had boots on, so no direct skin contact). I was able to brace myself for impact in the split second It took, but even with protection, it hurt a lot. At least it did not knock me off my bike.

No need. She seems to just swallow whatever comes flying at her.

Myth Busters showed that tread leaving a truck tire can decapitate someone

I have had the unfortunate terrifying experience of seeing an errant tire (although not from a truck) come bouncing across the median ditch at highway speed from the opposite direction. I didn’t know whether to speed up and get ahead of its trajectory, slow down to hopefully allow it to go past me, or dodge left or right. Kind of like dodging a squirrel, only I was the squirrel. Fortunately I was alone on my side of the road. In the end it just glanced off my rear quarter, and broke my hubcap.

A friend of mine was driving down the road when a truck passed him. A few seconds later, one of the truck’s tires ran into the back of his car.

My Sister could use it. She had a car tire hit her windshield, and another time a big chunk of metal fell of a truck with such force it embedded itself in her radiator.

We could’ve used it, too. Cost us hundreds of dollars once.

in local news, a little girl (the news outlets can’t seem to figure out whether she’s 4 or 5) is unconscious in hospital after getting hit by a tire that flew off a jumped up jimny. it later turned out that the jimny driver, who’s been arrested, had been captured on camera just a few minutes previously, inspecting the vehicle and test driving it. we’re trying to puzzle out how you can overlook bolts that are loose enough for the tire to come off. the poor girl was just crossing the street with her dad when she got nailed…

    What about blinker fluid?

You have to have that, or your blinkers might stop working.
