To everything there is a time … a time to wait and a time to go …

Rover has resolve but he didn’t have as much time as he thought he had.

A nice variation in the well-known situation in which a dog is distracted by a squirrel rather than from one.

Rover’s love and loyalty to Red wins. Dogs love us more than they love themselves.

Good choice, Rover!

Squirrel or Red? Rover just decided on who was important. No milky bones from a dumb squirrel .

Squirrels were always safe in our yard. Our lab always tracked the squirrel back to where it had come from. Squirrels enjoyed watching.

Until something more important comes along.

Mr. Red is more interesting than Mr. Squirrel! Good, Rover!

Love that Rover’s priorities are inextricably tied to Red. The devotion and loyalty a dog offers are priceless.

LOL… Dogs can go from “On Point” in a split second. School Bus, doggy treats, cat, etc…

You lucked out today …..Squirrel …. Rover has important things ……….. to do now ….. :)

If ever the time comes and I’m alone, I will get myself a small dog! Even if I’m really old. I have 2 cats, but I truly miss having a dog!!

Those ears (or in this case, the cocked ear when he hears Red’s bus). Brian gives Rover so much expression with Rover’s ears!

I get it! In UP the dog is distracted by the squirrel..

Maybe the trees are sparse in Rover’s neighborhood. Around here, the squirrels can run through several trees without touching the ground. Rover would be waiting at the bottom of a empty tree…
