It’s all downhill from there Fred!

Some dogs are amazing in their ability to run uphill.

A rolling ball gathers no moss…

What was Mr. Dear thinking? Nothing at all? Go fetch it yourself! This better should not be a training session for Fred for to participate in this cheese rolling festival.

If you think this is bad, Fred, wait until you have to lug it back UP the hill.

Aww, poor Fred. With his little legs and long stout body it’ll take him awhile to go back up that hill. Mr. Dear, this is mean. You retrieve the ball and carry Fred up that hill!

Mr. Dear … You best have some water ready for Fred when he gets back ;-)

He can distract himself by humming a little Kate Bush as he’s Running Up That Hill.

Fred! The cliff!! WATCH OUT FOR THE CLIFF!!!!!

And Fred’s paws never touched the ground, whoo whoo!

I love the aerodynamic body shape in the 2nd panel—and the speed! The distance! How will he ever get back up there?

The race down will be fine, but the hike back up will be a bit tougher I think.

And.. it’s all uphill once you catch it.
