    That Would be a nice change- But Biden can only do so much, alone- and right now the GQP still controls the house. If you are a ‘working stiff’, and want to do better for you and your family- Vote Blue. Up and down the ticket, vote Blue.

    Of course, if you think you and yours are doing just fine, and the millionaires and billionaires really Deserve to get another private jet, or another mega-yacht, then by all means, vote for your local Rethuglican.

    “1981: The World Bank began collecting data on global poverty. Mostly through household surveys, they found that 44% of the world lived in extreme poverty.”

    “2023: About 9.2% of the world’s population, or approximately 719 million people, are living on a daily income of less than $2.15.”(worldvision.Org)

    It’s clear that percentage-wise fewer are in extreme poverty. It’s also true that there are still too many in that circumstance. The easiest/simplest way to shrink the numbers further is to educate and empower women.
