He forgot to open the trunk, or did he drive off with their stuff? Both will score you big points.

That’s what many school bus drivers do. They stop when no child is waiting for it. A minute later one comes walking out and gets on. Then the parent takes two more minutes talking with the driver. All this happens during morning rush hour when people need to get to work. Oh, and then it happens again two houses down the road.

Scarier still, they don’t do any training. If you’ve got a license with a year or more of driving and your record is clean, you’re ready to go.

I wasn’t sure if it was a part of their training program or just simply not caring about anything or anyone other than themselves. It seems to come naturally. Training helps reinforce the behavior.

Sometimes I have to tell the driver to find a spot to pull over, even I have to walk half a block, so we don’t block traffic.

They do that in big cities because people won’t let them back into traffic.

he needs to take some lessons from our local geezers. a typical standard maneuver is to pull across the crosswalk that leads to the mall entrance and sit there idling and blocking pedestrian traffic while waiting for granny to finish shopping…
