Point taken! … but, those older home phones were really tough to carry around, people would look at you funny, I kept closing the car door on that stupid cord, and no one EVER called me!
Usually it requires a second piece of technology. I’m a retired IT guy. I have four computers, two phones and a couple of iPods. Truth is, I really need to lose some of these things. :)
Youngsters are going retro and getting back to vinyl records and even cassettes, but will they ever go back to Seinfeld-sized mobile phones? (I did hear that flip phones are coming back).
Twenty years ago, I needed a box that needed a desk or table to hold thirty-two Gigabytes of data. Now I can store that much data on an SD card the size of my thumbnail.
