Interesting. That has the same cadence and feel as “The Raven”

That last leaf of autumn always has such pathos. Overplaying it for the sake of jerking tears.

O. Henry’s “The Last Leaf”, captioned by Shakespeare’s “Sonnet 87”, and “Hamlet”.

Hammy, it’s okay, he lived a full life.

The next toot you hear ain’t the noon whistle.

That was so poetic.

That’s one drama queen of a leaf.

Who knew that leaf was a ham.

I have never understood all the fuss about Shakespeare. The basic storylines might be good, but the archaic language is annoying word salad to a modern ear and not worth the effort.
