I’m prone to laryngitis, and yet I could still communicate with my kids.

They might be the same clothes as Hammie’s yesterday, but they’re not the same clothes as our yesterday.

Laryngitis, huh? Gee, I wonder how that happened?

Hammie should be able to take care of a number of those items himself without being told . A pull-back-view panel showing the kids around him moving a bit further away would have been funny.

Mom is his memory for those things.

Holy mackerel! Good thing he doesn’t have hearing loss or he’d never shape up!

In my 3rd grade class there was another boy who wore dirty clothes and smelled (to me) like salt. Most likely he didn’t wash often. For unrelated reasons I switched schools that year and never found out what his story was. I hope he found a better life somehow.

We were taught and had to fend for ourselves lots. I was dressing, bathing, cleaning and cooking, on my own, such as my breakfast before school, learning to do all that starting in grade school. Kids in school would let you “know” if you looked and smelled funny in kid talk. So you either did something about it or got picked on. Hammie is just showboating for attention.

I like how Hammie lays it all out to save them both the time and effort. Laryngitis from what exactly?

Wonder how she got it……
