The crust is always the best part

Know your clientele.

I’ve always preferred crusty bread. Even when I was quite small. Mother would occasionally offer to cut the crusts off the sandwiches for a real treat… and it WAS: I got my sandwich AND everybody’s crusts too!

Never understood why people cut and throw away the crust.

The end pieces were always a treat for me when I was a kid. Toasted and buttered made them extra special. Today, not so much. :)

Thought she was going to eat and then regurgitate

My wife’s father told her to eat the crusts ‘cause it put hair on her chest. She had trouble understanding the positive side of that arguent at age seven. She said she didn’t want a hairy chest until she was 14.

LOL! It just figures!

He’s a pecky eater.

A friend of mine takes all the pizza crusts I don’t eat (bad teeth) and feeds them to her collection of wild critters.

She’s going to add fish to that. In cod we crust.
