I do keep chocolate in the fridge, at when the temperature is over 80 Fahrenheit.
Do supermarkets wear capes?
true dat
Be chill Mama!
I thought aunts couldn’t eat chocolate … Oh — “ANTS”!
Same with peanut butter.
I keep it in a dark drawer of my nightstand.
In Phoenix, I’ve needed an insulated bag just to get it home unmelted.
I always put chocolate bars, any candy bars really, in the fridge for a while before eating them. I like them cold. Just have to be careful biting into it since it’s harder to chew into and I don’t want to harm my teeth (the ones I have left).
Chocolate is not meant to be kept in the fridge or on a shelf or in a cupboard or in a desk drawer or in a purse. It’s meant to be consumed.
Salad dressing and ketchup are also store on shelves at “room temperature”, but the labels tell you to refrigerate after opening.
I like my chocolate to be crispy, but I don’t like it to be cold. Sort of a narrow tolerance setting, but here we are.
Shelf life of chocolate in my house is measured in minutes – usually less than two digits.
That reminds me, Halloween approaches. Should stock up soon.
The supermarket is already below 70 degrees F.
I prefer dark chocolate. To get the full flavor I let it slowly melt in my mouth. Have a blessed day everyone.
Thanks for the public service announcement, and just in time for Halloween..
I suspect you’re trying to justify to yourself that chocolate should not be stored at all, it should be consumed immediately.
I keep hamburger in the fridge – but I don’t buy meat from Polar Cows.
