It’s too late this year, but in the future combine Halloween with Christmas. Buy candy to fill those Christmas stockings. Hang pumpkins instead of mistletoe. Drink eggnog flavored with pumpkin spice. Instead of a sleigh, Santa would ride in The Flying Great Pumpkin. (—

The thanksgravy stuff was on sale with the back to school stuff. It follows that the Halloween and Christmas stuff would be out at the same time.

Spooky? Sad … maybe. But it’s not so much spooky.

Actually I think it’s great that many people get their Christmas shopping done early… it lessens the last minute crowd .. Imagine if everyone waited till the last month to hit the stores! There are a lot more of us than there used to be! (Though Billy is trying his darnedest to get that number down!)

I was finding Halloween decorations on the clearance aisle by October 15th as they were already replaced with Christmas Decorations. I am wondering if anyone but grocery stores are going to sell any Thanksgiving decorations.

Aunty, you’re a day late and a dollar short with that observation. Old news by now.

an expression used when someone does not approve of or enjoy something that other people enjoy, especially a special occasion such as Christmas: 31% of people think we spend too much time shopping for presents. Bah humbug!

Calling our LORD, Holy GHOST is really like Halloween. He’s the HOLY SPIRIT. Not a spook.

Last week I hung a drawing of 3 cats in holiday attire on my front door with the all-purpose greeting:

    HAPPY HALLOTHANKSMAS!

Back in October 2018 after 45 years living in the USA and an American citizen since 1981 I went home to the Philippines to visit and the first thing I noticed were all the Christmas stuff on sale which my relatives said they start to do in September lol
