That’s right. I remember whenever my grandpa and step grandma came over my step grandma would gossip with my mother and when I called it gossiping my mother got mad. I would tell her (when step grandma wasn’t there) that whatever she saw and heard at our house she shared with my mother’s 2 sisters since whatever she saw and heard at their houses was the fuel for her gossip at our house. My mother wouldn’t accept that.

I think it was Ben Franklin who said, ’Three may keep a secret if two are dead."

If I do not have a need to know, I don’t want to know. The easiest secret to keep is the one you don’t know.

I don’t need gossip as a source of conversation. You get a much better conversation from people if you can get them to talk about themselves rather than other people.

A word to the wise is sufficient!!!!

Indeed.

As Apostle Paul says, I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, It is the Lord who judges me.1 Corinthians 4:3-4. So give em the ole raspberry.

Being so concerned about how other people talk about oneself….Being so focused about self? The center of gender identity?

Don’t be one, and it won’t be a topic of conversation.
