In Australia tomorrow would be the start of summer.

It’s a new era Paige. The new generation of science denying weather people started meterological winter on Dec 1st. Apparently using solsitces and equinoxes is too confusing for them

In Iceland, winter officially started on October 28.

Agreed, Paige. Up here in our section of Ontario, a green Christmas is predicted.

On Sunday into Monday, here in southern New England, we had torrential rain, and the temperature reached the low 60s. While I don’t actually want to deal with a heavy snowfall at any given moment, it’s better than going through a winter without it.

Sorry their ears are plugged with snow. They can’t hear you.

Can Paige whine a bit louder. Those who are in Hawaii can’t hear her

sadly it is looking very much like a NO SNOW Christmas for us in Minniesoda. by sadly I mean it is nice to have the white to cover everything to an inch or two -ON THE OTHER HAND – it is also nice not to be concerned about ice and travel etc. etc. during the holiday time just seemingly not quite as festive

It will be 50 on Christmas. That is the way I like it. I don’t get the “I Want To Shovel Snow Christmas Day” crowd!

It last snowed in Mexico City on January 12, 1967, long before I moved here. But we have been having exceptionally cold weather for the last month – last night it went down to 42° F!

Point. The solstice is usually the 21st.

Apparently winter didn’t get that memo…
