But I’ve grown a year since then.

The house I grew up in had a basement full of the Toys of Christmas Past, stacked up in huge piles, all collecting mildew.

I always grew out of the presents I got…

I can’t say I was ever that bad, but as much as I liked Happy Meals as a kid, I’d forget the toy within a week. Today I can recall only two of them, and they weren’t especially good.
