Wait, when did Miles make this drawing? The reactions from his parents + the simple drawing style implies it was years ago. But that is not possible since Miles and his parents moved to their current house when Miles was already 9.

I dunno if it’s a shrine to his innocence considering he wasn’t supposed to do that at all, but I get the sentiment. This one is sweet.

I thought they were newcomers to the neighborhood.

I was expecting this to end with his mother finding something Miles had recently done, and flipping out just like she used to when he drew on the walls.

Miles is a wonderful artist, but the wall is not a canvas, unless you’re painting a mural.

I doubt a 6 year old would draw a TV antenna on a house in 2017, doubt if he has ever seen one ( I am the only one in my neighborhood who has one.

Since they moved into this house as the series began, possibly it wasn’t actually that long ago. Miles, for whatever reason, drew on the wall and his parents aren’t thinking it through. I imagine just as Gene puts all the furniture back, he’ll go “wait a minute…”

You’re not taking pictures?! You know, to preserve them (and so you can look at them whenever you want, and put them in chronological order in your photo collection). What? Yeah, I’m a dad, I know I would.
