    I adopted a one year old pound puppy in April 2018. The first year of her life was terribly harsh, both physically and mentally. It was nearly a year later before she greeted me that way as I came in the door. She is much improved now, but even today she still has nightmares from PTSD.

    Conan greeted me with that same sort of flying tackle; at 80 pounds, it was no joke and came close to sending me flying more than once. A few hits and I decided we needed some obedience training so that he knew how to say “Hello” with his feet on the ground!
