Rugby’s favorite toy was a 3 foot long white fluffy lamb than squeaked. When he passed we gave it to our neighbors who had a young black lab, Smokey. When we stopped by the other day Smokey greeted us @ the door with Rugby’s lamb in his mouth. My wife was crying and laughing @ the same time. Just love these wonderful dogs.
A couple of years ago we got the cats one of those fish-shaped toys that wriggles. They weren’t interested in it, but our dog wound up adopting it with his other toys.
