It’s not how many fish you catch it’s the fact that you went fishing

The sign does says “no fishing” after all. So why would he expect to catch any fish there? They don’t put up a sign for no reason.

River fishing is a bit more accessible. Going out to sea requires a boat unless you want to try your luck off a dock.

I used to fish for trout in the creek behind my house. I always put them back after I caught them because I don’t like the taste of trout. (Lucky for the trout.)
