For every two cents the IRS takes from us the government spends three.

What makes you think we’re going to give you any money back?

We must ALWAYS remember that taxes are the only way to effectively pay for the myriad services offered to us by our government, and that, even if we don’t directly benefit from the “government”, we as a society are utterly dependent on that “government” for our communal welfare…

I may not directly “need” assistance in my life for every little thing, but I (and we) all benefit from governmental support, and some form of “tax” pays for that assistance – and if YOU don’t understand this concept then you’re truly not paying attention…

We would be lucky if the government gave back half what they steal from us in taxes. (They have a lot of very nice expensive mansions, that we paid for.)

Ha-ha. We’re being “ripped off” to pay for roads, hospitals, emergency services, education … Poor, gullible us. /S
