In the inner city these kids would kill you for your candy.

One year there was a chocolate flavoring in a pressure can on the market, it could shoot sauce over 30 feet…

Cars are too complicated, heavy, and welded to disassemble and reassemble in awkward locations.

Yeah, you’re getting close to the age where you’re expected to act responsible.

The only solution is to volunteer to take the little kids trick-or-treating. It’s amazing how often the “chaperone” gets candy as well. ;-)

halloween is the number one holiday in japan. the commercial association director for sapporo’s popular tanuki koji shopping arcade had a message for all the young adults who wanted to celebrate by sitting around in the street there drinking: “please stay home.” the kids ignored him…

Ha! Good points smart kid. Inflation and Supply challenges have also put a damper on the mischief! There’s something sad about realizing you’re too old to go out for Halloween, cool the way you tied into that.

I like the drawings in this one. Toby declaiming as if he was quoting Shakespeare, and the gestures seen in silhouette. Plus, I like Curly’s closing curse. Johnny Carson, as the host of the Tonight Show, would frequently coin some highly unusual and creative hexes on people. The best one I came up with was “May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits.” Amazingly to me, my mother remembered that and reminded me of it years later.
