The skis of justice keep sliding

I feel this leads to Amanda somehow closing the courthouse, leading to the inevitable new cat.

When it rains, it pours. Same for snow in North Dakota, and cats.

Look at that face light up!

It’s raining cats and dogs, watch where you step.

There’s always a chance. Sometimes they just show up, that’s how we got all of ours.

Even if it’s snowing, the wheels of justice keep turning. They might need chains but…

Let’s not establish that legal precedent.

Hubby told me I couldn’t have any more cats (we had his and mine at the time). I saw a kitten I liked, and kept talking about it. He adopted the kitten for me and named him Mr. Nomo D. Kats, when hubby died I got two more cats that year.

Depending on territorial considerations, there can be a limit on the possible number of cats. We never managed to have more than two.
