My favorite high school English teacher had a great formula. He called it “The Army Way.” It was, “Tell ‘em what you’re gonna tell ’em. Tell ’em. Tell ’em what you told ’em.” I decided to call it “sonata allegro,” but it’s the same thing either way,.
I tend to use a lot of parenthesis in my written word, and never knew this was an ADHD trait until after I was diagnosed and started to read more about it, and read more about others’ traits. I HAVE TO GIVE A FULL BACKGROUND AND ADD IN ALL THE SIDE THOUGHTS AND GEE WHIZ SENTENCES GET LONG. Haha!! But yeah.
Could it have been a psychosomatic issue? I remember that as a kid the tension at home was so suffocating that I ended up vomiting every day. My dad and sister argued pretty much all the time, I were silent and heard everything. I couldn’t avoid the feeling of nausea and disgust I had about my family.
keep venting Alli … not only is it healthy to get it out……. this is going to make a great Halloween Week type of tale…. ( and your strong enough to handle it…)
