Mmmm…stuffing.

Nobody in my house will eat stuffing…or turkey…or cranberry sauce…or pumpkin pie either. We’re having pot roast.

Poor sweet Big Shirley, having Alice there at Thanksgiving Day ☺

My birthday occasionally falls on Thanksgiving Day. 10 times so far and counting.

That gag reflex only comes into play with stuffing made with raisins.

I make stuffing with apples, celery, onion, sausage and breadcrumbs – always cooked separate, not inside the bird – I use the cooked bird juice for making gravy

But don’t add gravy. If you add gravy, Big Shirley will lick you right up.

Haha, great advice, Petey, seeing as you are not the one doing the cleanup! Alice, the only gift you get on Thanksgiving is a food coma!

Petey, I’m afraid, is not much help to little sis Alice’s irrational fear of Big Shirley! (Suspicion: it’s the name as much as the dog herself that scares Alice.)

This is going to be a difficult Otterloop Thanksgiving….
