My closeups are better from a distance.

Mr. DeMille?

Coincidentally, it is time for your far-off.

Simple, gorgeous, and simply gorgeous.

I do love Will Henry’s intricate and busy elaborations that are the beautiful recreations of Snug Harbor in “Wallace the Brave.”

But I also get spine tingly thrills from these art-at-the-vanishing-point depictions of Possum’s and Cat’s world. The Cosmos is defined by a single line “horizon” that divides that world into Earth and Sky. Goosebumps, I tell you.

And there’s even an echo of the (arbitrarily?) divided color fields in the great paintings of Mark Rothko. Yes, I’d happily hang any one (or all four) of today’s panels on my walls.

It’s a long shot…

That’s enough closeups for one day Eric. I think I’m going to close up now.
