I often had stacks of assignments that high to evaluate as a fifth grade teacher, but in preschool? Can the students even write in preschool?

When I was a TA in college I’d grade papers in pencil and then pass them on to the prof to give the final grade and usually if I was off it was by a + or -.

One afternoon I’d just sat down to work on some papers having put it off long enough and the phone rings.-pre-cell days- A man is cold calling for time life books, BOOKS OF THE WORLD detailing countries history culture etc, each volume a different culture and we’re starting with the USSR in todays world you need to know about this country.

I said I’m sorry but I’m sitting here grading college papers asking is Stalinism an extension of or perversion of Leninism.

You know what else helps? Helping grade papers!

Glad she’s happy with the concert. Grading papers, I preferred the radio, which I could turn off if it annoyed me.

It looks like the eager young teacher is a bit behind in her own homework. I can not imagine anyone having enough students to produce those piles of paper in one day.

I fondly remember students who demonstrated an advanced vocabulary. They were gems.
