She needs a cage-mate and friend. But I’d she is a she, make sure the new friend is also a she or you will have a whole lot of new friends shortly. We always had hamsters in twos when I was a kid.

Niece had a hamster named Hamletta. They gave her a roll of TP to shred and hide in.
But if Milo helps the hamster escape, any chance of being friends with Izzy will be gone forever.
