We have a popcorn ceiling in our home. Sure would like to have it gone.

I have a traditional home from the 70’s. I would never take out the popcorn ceiling. It is one of the characters of my home that says “I am not a new build”. I have updated, but the closed floor plan and the popcorn ceiling are the two things I will keep. I personally like it! To each his own.

I had been in my apartment in a building from the 1970s for a few months when I was reading a message board post about the dangers of popcorn ceilings. I looked up. Popcorn ceiling. I hadn’t noticed before.

Time to replace it with Stucco

Leave it there. It will be back in style soon!

Popcorn ceilings are fine….. until they are removed.
