I’m cooking cornbread this weekend for the dressing, which I am cooking next week. Cranberry sauce will go in the fridge next weekend.

A bowl of gravy sounds great right about now.

This is a good time of the year for gravy lovers like Mittens. Christmas and New Year’s often mean dinners with gravy.

He’s started already. Angie’s gonna need a bigger (gravy) boat.

My gang isn’t that crazy about gravy.

Gravy tomorrow, gravy yesterday, never gravy today

I had a mini-Thanksgiving yesterday. The deli by me, the hot food counter, had turkey and gravy and stuffing. Yum. Their stuffing is beyond fantastic.

Some years, when I don’t feel like fussing, I just get a hot takeout “plate” there on Thanksgiving. For a small set price, I can have a big pile of turkey and as much of any side dishes that will fit on that big plate. I usually get two meals from one plate.

This year, I am having a restaurant fix my entire meal: a small turkey and all the sides and dessert.

Mittens, it’s a gravy situation. ☺

Cats do tend to love gravy.
