Leo’s a prophet. It does seem likely to cause a tempest.

“Ulysses Seen” is allegedly a graphic novel of the Joyce text. I’ve found it online… but am not computer literate to the extent that I know how to read it online.

The detail doesn’t matter, but since Marrin chose to include a specific Cardinal’s name, any idea as to who he is? Otherwise, Marrin could have simply written, “Cardinal.”

Okay, the James Joyce reference is pretty funny.

The storm is certainly going on in this country. Conservative Catholics are furious the pope removed one of their bishops. About time they have some of their power cut.

“Here Comes Everyone” (actually Here Comes Everybody) refers to one of two themes symbolizing, among other things, two protagonists in “Finnegans Wake,” (also rendered as HCE), Humphrey Chimpden Earwicker. The other is ALP, Anna Livia Plurabelle.

The fact that so many bishops object to the concept of listening to the laity should tell you everything you need to know about those bishops.

And now the battle begins……
