My Grandson is in Soccer, he’s 8, the adults don’t keep score, but the kids do. He likes winning, got three goals last game I went to see him play.
Losing like that makes this game a squimage match to learn from. We only have to worry if all the games are squimages.

When my son played basketball in league for under 10 years old, rarely did either team get to 40 points.
Most soccer games are lucky to have one point altogether. Yielding 40 to your opponents is, let’s say, not good! Don’t try to put your guilt trip back on Broomie, Nerwin!
