With such a tight job market maybe we should be a bit more welcoming.

We don’t know who, or when, or where … we just know they’re coming, they’re here and they are ready to join thousands of other homeless. They are looking for a better life because their home country’s system or opportunities or coffers aren’t as sophisticated and well stocked as ours… they are young aggressive and will vote, protest, march, riot, or do just about anything that their paying hosts tell them to do.

    What a scam

I very much agree with Kingdiamond69. They’re looking for a better life in a country that needs them

Republican/conservatives in congress have refused to address immigration because their own constituents have long time hired illegals and paid them less in wages and benefits than legal migrants. Of course legal migrants are paid less than American minimum wage workers. Most all just want to work and feed their families. Freedom is secondary. All the numbers are down from tRump’s admin, but FOX ‘news’ and Republicans have noting else to sell than lies about immigration, lies about the economy, and lies about themselves.

Remember before every election since 2016 how FOX ‘news’ and tRump’s Republican/conservatives screamed about the “caravans” of illegals marching to our border? Remember the “horde” poised on the far bank of the Rio Grande, awaiting the end of Title 42 so as to invade? The election over, (poof!) they disappeared!Title 42 ended and the horde vanished without a trace!

    Where did they go?

Haha. Spot on! A lot of those “immigrants” who are hard workers and just looking for a better life are actually terrorists, gang members, and the like. Wake UP!!

Yet, the numbers don’t bear out the Biden critic crowd. From the libertarian Cato Institute:

“During the Trump administration, DHS made 1.4 million arrests—what it calls “encounters”—in fiscal years 2019 and 2020 (24 months). Of those people arrested, only 47 percent were removed as of December 31, 2021, which includes people arrested by Trump and removed by Biden, and 52 percent were released into the United States.

Under Biden, DHS made over 5 million arrests in its first 26.3 months, and it removed nearly 2.6 million—51 percent—while releasing only 49 percent. In other words, the Trump DHS removed a minority of those arrested while the Biden DHS removed a majority. Biden managed to increase the removal share while also increasing the total removals by a factor of 3.5."

Difficult things, those facts. For most people.
