I make donations this time of year, including when stores ask if you wish to add a donation to your purchase. My favorite is when it’s for children’s hospitals, especially with my nephew who survived having a tumor.

I hope the “kids” get more out of it than the “organizers”.. what was it with Jerry Louis’s march of dimes? a dime out of every dollar? like with most “charities”?? But actually looking at it from a different angle… they do produce jobs, which keeps the workers off welfare, and our economy running smoothly!
