Alice is caught up in her own excesses (a.k.a. “redouble my effort”). Beni’s criticism is subdued, not so bold as usual….
I’ve done that with food, e.g. salads that don’t know when to quit. The trouble is, when you always use everything, it’s always the same, whereas well chosen combinations and permutations are endlessly various and distinctive.
