A lot of people might think Nate is being selfish here, but I think he just isn’t used to having someone believe in him this much. He wants to show Daphne the amazing things he can do so he won’t be afraid of losing her (like he did with others in last experiences), and I think that’s really sweet.

Nate, you don’t need to “look good”. Daphne clearly likes you for who you are. You don’t need to show off.
