It’s true that Biden’s polling is down. Woo hoo. Polls mean what again, exactly? Right. But Varvel’s paid to lie about everything, so this is pretty soft for him.
It’s a year until the election. Polls this far out are really meaningless. Besides, maybe the fright wing media will lighten up a bit and tell some truth. Most of the negativity about President Biden is because of misinformation, disinformation and falsehoods, mixed with conspiracy theories and outright malicious propaganda.
Democrats win again! Democrat candidates and their issues won contests in Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia. It will be a very interesting 2024, and only a fool like Varvel would count President Biden out at this point.
Democrats are going to hammer every single Republican on the 2024 ballot with abortion/women’s rights. Not a single Republican will be able to avoid it. Furthermore, Democracy has now become a kitchen-table issue. Voters are seeing how Republicans tried to disenfranchise voters in Ohio and Virginia, and people are paying attention to ballot access and vote nullification.
Next year will be a bad year to have an “R” by your name.
Don’t trust the polls after 2016. Oh, and remember the Red Tsunami of 2022? Despite what the Conservative and Liberal media tells you, the only polls you can believe take place on election day. Look at what happened yesterday.
I don’t know how many times I need to say this, Gary, but polls don’t really say all that much (especially those taken one year before the Presidential election). First up, as far as I know, polls are still largely reliant on land line phones (when most Americans have largely switched to mobile phones), so those who are answering are largely older Americans who tend to be more conservative than younger Americans. Also, most poll respondents (I believe) say what they think others want to hear, or what they think they should say. Finally, we should recognize that in the American media, a headline reading “Trump has huge lead over Biden in battleground states!” generates way more clicks than one reading, “Democrats have big victories in off-year election!” That’s just the nature of the beast. Finally, there will be a few months before primary season next year. There would still be time for Trump to be convicted (though his oversized ego would keep him in the race) and there’s still time for Biden to decide not to run for reelection after all (like LBJ in 1968) and allow someone like CA Governor Gavin Newsom or MI Governor Gretchen Whitmer to run in his stead. I don’t have a crystal ball or anything like that, but by Super Tuesday next year, things might look decidely different in both parties.
Polls are far from accurate, and I don’t bet on them. For who gets polled, and where, when, and how many? Polls can be manipulated so easily by just that.
Until Republicans in states figure out how run a counter argument vs. Abortion they will have a problem When states like Ohio and Virginia when you facing big money donors from the ACLU and Planned Parenthood.
I got a “polling” letter from the Republican Party (it was actually a plea for money) which was so d….ed biased and full of scare tactics that I wrote LIES on all pages and tossed it in the recycle.

If memory serves, at one point Biden figured he could take trump with one hand tied behind his back. Now, he will do it standing on one leg.

I don’t believe in polls as evidenced by 2020 elections. People are fickle. The media lies and is biased. Elections are manipulated. God save us all.

As we saw back in 2016, polls are mostly worthless in todays political environment. So I wait till the election to truly see where people stand.

Polls don’t matter, votes do.
Ignore the polls and vote. Vote Republican for an oppressive government.
Vote Democratic for Freedom for all.
It really is that simple.

It’s so bad for Biden that Obama and David Axelrod are all suggesting strongly that he should not run again.
