Shermy looks pretty mean in that second cel, while little Charlie Brown sadly learns a lesson—a bad lesson—too many of us learned as kids. Most of us I like to hope grew kinder with age.

My dad taught all of us, even my sisters, to have a good firm handshake. Anytime I encounter someone with a weak handshake, I’m not pleased.
