This isn’t going to be one of those horror stories about the American medical system is it?

Allison, hope this is all exaggerated for the benefit of the strip.

The comment about the ambulance makes me think your medical insurance goes somewhere between limited to nonexistent.

You really draw and tell a great story. I hope those pain pills were working overtime.

Oof! Those pain meds can be a double-edged sword. For a mind used to going to dark places, they make it easier to go deeper into the darkness.

I anxiously wait the outcome.

Some meds will do that to you. Give you a euphoria high, then drop you into despair when wearing off. So you’re okay, it’s the meds.

I’m so glad you survived to talk about it. It seems like a horrifying ordeal when it’s happening. I could never ask my ex for help with anything.
