Pretty much like any parent does. It’s sort of written all over your face – literally. You need to wipe the evidence off your face and feet. Rubbing in grass does an excellent job.

Same as with children? Only a dirty dog is a happy dog :-)

My pup goes out in the morning and digs a while. If I don’t get up, she jumps in my bed. I always forgive her.

Mr. Dear pay attention to what Fred is doing and that might keep both of you out of trouble ;-)

You should never yell or hit your dog.

Due to the house sitting near the back of the lot, our garden is mostly in the front. In back, there’s a bird feeder by the gazebo, so there are rats under the gazebo, squirrels visiting and cats checking both out. Keeps the mutts occupied.

The evidence speaks for itself, Fred.

But of course, the secret clues!

It’s not just the muddy nose and paw prints, but the self-satisfied look on your face Fred! You’re very proud of your digging ability, aren’t you?
