I have never understood what Cathy sees in Irving. And yet, she married him! Cathy Guisewite said in an interview once that most people didn’t get it…except for the eternally single women who were never likely to find a guy to marry. They were the ones who NEVER asked why Cathy put up with him. Being single when I read it, that made me feel pretty good about my future prospects. LOL (And I did marry a great guy.)
