Irving shouldn’t fight this version. His mother does everything for him, Cathy can marry him and do the same. They’ll both be sublimely content!

It is hard sometimes to deal with difficult feelings, no matter what the age. Yet it means you are growing as a person to not only acknowledge them, but also deal with them. Even the toughest person can feel scared sometimes, the most confident person can feel insecure, and so on.

I’m with Cathy in that this shows that Irving is multi-faceted, and that is appealing. But his denial of the parts that he doesn’t feel comfortable with just shows that he has a lot of maturing to do. Good luck, Cathy. (-‸ლ) Fortunately, this is a comic, and things are exaggerated so we are just here for the show.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!

It might not be original but my favorite breakup line is: “It’s not you. It’s not me. It’s US.”

For some reason men are not supposed show their emotions – at least that is what we were taught long ago. As a result I have known a lot of outward ‘tough’ guys who were really scared and insecure inside. I hope they were successful anyway. I don’t know how many times in my life that people have laughed at me for crying at sad movies. Heck, I cry at happy occasions too. I was a 90’s guy way before the 90’s. Ah well, learning to ignore other peoples reactions to my emotions has allowed me to enjoy my life.

Enjoy this fine Monday – even if you are lonely, scared, and insecure inside.
