Cathy’s mom is right – you have to be totally committed to one another before attempting to assemble furniture together – or else one or both of you might have to be committed.
I will be purchasing a desk soon. It is not assembled but for $79 someone from Angi’s List will call and arrange assembly. I have put together many items of furniture, several desks, bookshelves, etc. I have the knowledge on how to read the instructions and do it right the first time. I’ve had pictures with no written instructions all the way to detailed instructions. Unfortunately I’m 70 years old and can’t lift the larger parts, much less stand it up once I’m done.
