Call me old-fashioned, but I think you can be in shape without showing it all. I prefer a “quiet” display of strength; it’s usually more effective than “in your face.”

I recall dealing with a computer supplies retailer many years ago. They had a booth at Comdex Toronto (yes – that long ago) where I got to meet the sales team. They were all attractive women dressed to show their ‘assets’. The rep I dealt with was not there but I met her at a private party later that day. She was not stunning but dressed professionally. Funny thing, another division of the company I worked for dealt with one of the women who were ‘on display’ at the booth. Their orders were often late, had items missing, or were billed wrong. My orders were always on time, correct, and billed properly. I know you cannot make a generalization from this but for this company only one employee was hired to get work done. The others were for ‘eye candy’. Having met the owners I had no trouble believing this. That supplier did not last too many years after that.
Ah Monday today (for those of us who had a holiday yesterday – Tuesday for everyone else). I hope you all enjoy it.
It’s amazing to me how all the above comments are about the women’s bodies and clothing. Their intelligence, abilities and accomplishments are ignored as irrelevant because they are female.
Hurray for these wonderful, intelligent, successful, confident women!!! You go, girls!!
