The costs of lighting have “circuitly” gone into space.

By the time you get them home, they’ll be tangled.

Buy the tangled. They’ll be like that by the time you get home anyway.

I never regretted getting a pre-wired tree with choice of colored or white lights. With the cost of real trees these days it’s win/win.

Hey… they sell pre-flocked trees! Why not pre-untangled lights!? There might even be a service that will come take them down after Christmas and re-tangle them for you.

I’ve had my little prelit tabletop tree for around 25 years. I just plunk it on a table, “fluff” it up, plug it in and hey, presto!

I’ve never had a problem with tangled lights and I’m less than careful putting them away, just coil and plop in a box.

Do they have a check station so you can plug them in to ensure all the lights work?

Easy choice, tangle lights are a Christmas tradition and you don’t want to break with tradition.

Nope. Save the ten bucks. The untangled will become tangled the minute you touch it.

I get my Christmas bulk in bulk, too. Usually around 10 to 20 pounds around my middle- spare tire.

Our tree is pre-wired but that doesn’t stop my wife from adding more. If it isn’t visible to the crew of the ISS it isn’t bright enough.
