It’s another pretty day today. Some of the trees are turning but none have lost their leaves yet though there’s one across the street that looks pretty scraggly. It’s one of those with really long almost bare limbs and foliage only on the tips. When it turns brown it looks really weird.
Being Monday, it’s laundry day. I’m waiting for Michael to get up so that I can wash everything he’s either wearing or sleeping on. Other than that, I am going to try to get some more decorating done today. Emphasis on the word “try”. I seem to be a great procrastinator this year. I haven’t even set out the advent calendar yet and it’s already the 4th.
I did manage to turn in all of the recyclable plastic bags that I had been collecting. The last of them went to Winco yesterday.
I took Mark’s suggestion and bought some pork chops (lovely thick ones too) and made a pork chop scallop for dinner. It’s made with a package of scalloped potatoes & the chops all simmered together. And it’s really good. Thanks, Mark for the idea.
We’re warming up a bit. It’s already above 50 this morning (compared to low to mid 40’s the past few days) and we’re forecasted to hit 67.
In checking the weather channel I saw that there was a volcano in Indonesia that blew and there are several people still missing. My prayers go out for them and for their anxious families.

Good morning Vagabonds
Well, we’ve taken another hit from old Ma Nature last night, the trees are full of snow as is the driveway. Oh joy.
The starting temp was 33 degrees. The forecast says, snow, really? Well, it is suppose to tapper off by afternoon, high 36.
The power keeps blitzing out but fortunately not as often as you might think. I’ll get the snowblower out and clean out the drive. What fun.
Joy be yours today Vagabonds and may God bless.
