I prefer to stay home. It’s safer and cheaper. Lot of places Jack up the prices with “special deals” hoping to pay for their liquor license in one night. I also got tired of the forced revelry . Too many people trying to hard to have a good time.
Had to google “cut the mustard.” It is not synonymous with “cutting the rug,” as I guessed
