You told the coffee-crackhead he could have all of the “rocks” he wanted? Fool!

Coffee is a diuretic. If he drank anywhere near that much, he’d be spending most of his day in the bathroom flooding the sewer system.

That’s on you shop manager guy who knows Adam and pretty much it was Adam keeping that place afloat with how much coffee he buys/drinks.

It could be worse. Usually “drinking up the profits” refers to alcoholic beverages. Adam’s habit is much less toxic – and much less expensive.

Before he took this job, Adam said he was qualified to be a clown. Maybe that should be his next endeavor.

How does he get away from the urinal long enough to sell coffee

Good grief, Andre, if anyone had an inkling of how much coffee Adam drinks it should be you. But hiring him was a mistake especially to give him all the free coffee he wants as perks of the job. It was much better for you when he was buying the coffee from you. Now he’s a liability not an asset.

And now we know why Nathan’s has never hired Joey Chestnut.

Adam, I think you are about to be fired.

All that caffeine! It kept him going to the next cup. AND to the restroom!

Adam being fired is something that all of us saw coming, though I wasn’t 100% sure it would be because of excessive coffee consumption. I thought it might be over his interactions with customers.

Figures.

Yeah, that’s why I can’t work at a coffee shop…

Adam has no knowledge of how business’s are run……send him packing!

A new “Adam Rule” will soon be instituted for all employees.

Andre should have known. It’s not like he didn’t know Adam.

I don’t know how Adam would have time to serve customers what with drinking coffee, going to the bathroom and washing his hands.

Truthfully, who didn’t see this coming after the strip that he mentioned all the coffee he could drink free? We saw how much it hurt business when Adam stopped going there for a short time. How would this drain not drive Andre into bankruptcy?

How is it Adam doesn’t spend more time in the loo ? Comic characters have very strong bladders

His distributors don’t want to make more money? Andre should just give Adam the option of working without monetary pay but all the coffee he can drink. The cost of coffee is really low. Of course the pay of baristas is very low too.

Andre puts the ’ole in hyperbole

In real life business: the gross profit margin on coffee and/or tea pays the overhead, since the margin on other food that a coffee shop sells is less than 5%…

I’m glad Andre fired Adam.

A friend once worked for the local Dairy Queen. They owner said she could have all the ice cream she wanted. After about two days, she didn’t want any.

You’d think the coffee distributor would be happy to be selling extra coffee to Andre, not stop answering him.

We all saw that coming.

With that kind of liquid consumption, the bathroom breaks must be most of Adam’s day. Maybe just stop paying him for those, and take the rest out of his paycheck.

How is Adam not vibrating while standing if he drank that much coffee?

Well, take it out of his pay and I bet he will cut WAY back REAL quick.

I take it he’s gonna get fired soon for his bad drinking habits… coffee drinking habits that is. :J

He could let Adam drink the same amount of coffee as he did before, and not have to pay for it.
