When I was very young, I was warned about being bad and not getting presents but cinders. It was cinders in my warnings rather than coal. I always got the presents that I wanted, of course.

My favorite stocking stuffer was ashes and switches. Ashes from the Mount Saint Helens eruption in 1980, and a selection of switches from my local Radio Shack.

I don’t think I’d reveal EVERYTHING, Red…

Yes Red, rigorous honesty is the best! But, a good balance might be a better path. BTW, Santa did ask about that. Ha

I loved to learn, and still do! But I breezed through high school and two college degrees!

If I were Red I don’t think bragging about my faults to Santa is the best way to get what you want for Christmas.

But I’ll be a diamond someday

I miss getting a Christmas stocking.

I wonder if he’s found his brother’s Playboy magazines yet?

I wouldn’t go there myself. Just don’t lie to him if he asks……

Making an honest effort to be good would be better still.
